This morning I brought a message titled “Upon This Revelation I Will Build My Church” at Church of the Living Word in North Hills, California. Jesus stated that Peter’s revelation of Him as the Christ was the true foundation of the Church. That revelation caused Peter to stand even when Satan tried to sift him as wheat. In John 6, many disciples left Christ because of His teaching. The twelve remained with Christ, not because of their revelation of His teaching, but because they had a revelation of Him. Likewise, your revelation of the living Word is not enough to sustain you in the battle; you must have a revelation of God’s anointed. The Holy Spirit will lead you into this revelation if you seek for it.
